Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, the College of Law launched the activities of the International Entrepreneurship Week on Monday, 13/11/2023.
The activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week began in the Criminal Law Branch, where training sessions on mock trials were held for students applying to join the team that will represent the college in the first virtual court competition held by the Scientific Society of the Union of Arab Faculties of Law and under the supervision of the lecturer of the Criminal Law Branch (Eng. Duraid Walid Nazzal) on the model courtroom in the college.
The public and private law branches held a seminar entitled (The Mechanism of Publishing in International Containers), in the presence of professors and students of primary and postgraduate studies, where the workshop aimed to highlight the importance of scientific publishing in international containers with a simplified comparison to show the difference between publishing in scientific journals and publishing in journals with an impact factor, in addition to knowing how to use bibliometric tools in publishing scientific research and collecting and interpreting statistics related to scientific journals to ensure their use and sobriety and determine the extent of their use on National and global levels.
