On the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, and the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qassem, the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week were launched on Monday morning, 13/11/2023, in the conference hall of the college.

The activities of the first day of this week included workshops and the presentation of introductory and realistic films about entrepreneurship, followed by a workshop discussion that included the presentation of inspiring and realistic success stories to exchange ideas with a group of college students to find job opportunities away from government employment, as well as the importance of self-employment and self-reliance to create different job opportunities.

Thereafter, a workshop entitled (Entrepreneurship and Fear of Failure) was Followed which aimed at introducing entrepreneurship, which means the establishment of a new project capable of solving a problem based on the element of innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity, and its management and development, taking into account the difficulties associated with it, and the entrepreneurial project depends on an innovative non-traditional idea to create the concept of entrepreneurship in children and encourage them to think and innovate new project ideas and know the extent of the market needs for this idea and encourage them to implement it, and students shared their opinions during their interaction with the workshop. This created an incentive for them to achieve a better future that achieves their ambition.
