The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, in the presence of Rector of the University of Baghdad, Pro.Dr. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi, along with deans, faculty members, and students.
Al-Aboudi affirmed, during the opening of several exhibitions at the Colleges of Science and Engineering at the University of Baghdad, which included patents and laboratory equipment, that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is diligently working to empower universities for effective and active roles in this domain. The efforts aim to enhance quality initiatives, increase scientific publications, expand the scope of academic theses associated with satisfying knowledge requirements, and provide scientific solutions to institutional challenges, in a way that enhances sustainable development opportunities.
It was also affirmed that the ministry, its universities, educational institutions, scientific and research centers spared no effort in prioritizing entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, and enhancing specialized academic programs.
