The University of Baghdad concluded the badminton tournament with the participation of 45 public and private universities for male and female students, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Sabah Qasim, the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Ali Sadiq, Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department, and the presence of representatives of the participating universities.
The final match took place between the University of Kirkuk and the University of Babylon for male students and the team of the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology for female students. At the end of the match, the Rector of the University of Baghdad honored the winning teams, and gold medals were distributed to the participating teams, wishing them continued success in their sports and educational careers.
This initiative comes within the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Baghdad to support young people and encourage them to practice sports events to serve the educational process and our country, Iraq.
