The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad topped the Times World Rankings for Specializations in Dentistry for the year 2024 among Iraqi universities. These significant results reflect the university Rector’s continuous monitoring and the well-thought-out plan implemented by the dean of College of Dentistry to align with international and accreditation standards. The ranking results also highlighted prominent positions for Baghdad, Babylon, Kufa, Mosul, and Al-Mustansiriya universities in the challenging global competition in the fields of medicine and health sciences.
It is noteworthy, that the Iraq secured the 37th position globally in the 2024 Times University Rankings, with Iraqi universities competing against 2024 universities from 108 countries worldwide based on evaluation indicators in teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook, and industry income.
