The Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, welcomed Prof.Dr. Ali Nazari, the President of Lorestan University in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting included the presence of Prof.Dr. Ali Abdul Amir, Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Ali Adnan Mashoush, Dean of the College of Languages, Dr. Nama Dahsh Farhan, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, and Dr. Omar Falah Hassan, Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department. Prof. Dr. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi, commenced the meeting with expressions of condolences and prayers for the martyrs of Gaza, as well as heartfelt wishes for the swift recovery of the injured and the eternal peace and forgiveness for the martyrs. It exemplified the spirit of solidarity that transcends borders.

During the meeting, they emphasized the wealth of shared cultural, academic, and economic ties between Iraq and Iran. It was important to focus on enhancing educational methods. The adoption of both remote and in-person e-learning at the University of Baghdad stands as a testament to our commitment to advancing education in today’s dynamic world. A milestone was reached with the agreement to establish joint committees for research and to foster partnerships in scientific endeavors. This collaborative effort is poised to yield groundbreaking outcomes in the realm of academia.

At the end of the meeting, the guest was presented with two books authored by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad. The esteemed guest expressed gratitude to the university’s administration for their hospitality, hoping for continuous scholarly and cultural communication to serve the educational process in both friendly countries.
