The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences hosted a workshop titled ‘Academic Reputation in International Rankings’ in the main discussion hall. The workshop was conducted by the expert in scientific research and university rankings, Prof.Dr. Nader Al Ibrahim from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The workshop was attended by the Assistant rector for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department at the University Presidency, Assist.Prof.Dr. Omar Faleh, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof.Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalf, and a number of deans of colleges, institutes, and heads of the quality assurance departments in all university formations.
The workshop covered an introduction to scientific research tools and the core of managing academic reputation in international rankings, addressing aspects related to scientific research and how to foster them to elevate the university to advanced rankings.
Finally, the dean of the college presented a commemorative gift to Dr. Nader Al Ibrahim as an expression of the college’s gratitude for his attendance from the Islamic Republic of Iran and for conducting this workshop
