In response to the directives of Prime Minister Eng. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, the University of Baghdad organized a stand to denounce brutal Zionist attack that affected innocent people at the Baptist Hospital in Palestine, which killed more than 600 martyrs. A number of university professors and students attended the vigil to support our brothers in Palestine against the barbaric attack they were subjected to as a result of the continuous Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In a speech, the Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, called on the Arab peoples to protest condemning the Zionist aggression against innocent people in Palestine. The Director of the Office of the Rector of the University, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Fouad Jaber, called for the Arab countries’ condemnation of the brutal Zionist aggression and the provision of humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people.
