The Psychological Research Center of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in accordance with the directives of the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, organized a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people at the University of Baghdad.
The head of the mental health department at the center, Dr. Adel Al-Salhi, said that the vigil included a minute of silence in mourning for the souls of the martyrs of Gaza, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery and calling on the Arab people to stand courageously against the crimes of the Zionist occupation of innocent people in Palestine and the barbaric aggression that affects children, women, and adults.
In a related context, the center held a voluntary campaign to donate blood to supplement hospitals for cancer diseases and to strengthen psychiatric laboratories to compensate for the shortage of blood, while the Director General of the Psychological Research Center, Dr. Hawra Al-Mubarqa, confirmed that this campaign comes in coordination with the Ministry of Health, which in turn strengthened the center with specialized staff to complete the blood donation process.
