A memorandum of understanding signed between the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, and the Rector of Ferdowsi University, Mashhad to foster the collaboration in the fields of teaching, postgraduate and mutual scientific research. The MOU singed within the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week which organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Iranian Ministry of Science and Technology in the Iranian, city of Mashhad, after conducted meeting between the two universities in the headquarter of Ferdowsi University to discussed in shared areas and develop a preliminary plan to activate the memorandum of understanding.
The meeting was attended by the Manager of Department of Quality assurance and academic Performance, Dr.Omar Falah Hussan alongside with Assistant to the Rector of Ferdowsi University for Scientific Affairs, Research and Technology Affairs , and Director of the International Relations Office at the University.
It is worth nothing, that the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is one of the universities categorized within the Shanghai ranking for chemical, mechanical and energy engineering specializations.
