The University of Baghdad recently attended the Opening Ceremony of Arab World Journalism Colleges Forum in Doha, Qatar. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Amar Tahir, and faculty member at the same college, Prof.Dr. Wissam Fadel, along with several deans, faculty members, and college students from twenty Arab countries.

At the forum, discussions revolved around various topics, including the enhancement of media curricula in the Arab world’s Mass Communication Colleges to satisfy labor market demands. Additionally, addresses topics related to artificial intelligence and its relationship to developing media curricula.

It is worth noting that the forum is sponsored by Qatar University, UNESCO, and Al Jazeera Media Network, the forum will last for three days and will include various workshops, symposiums and lectures. This participation is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Baghdad’s initiative to engage with international universities and forums for academic and scientific collaboration, serving the educational process and our country.
