The College of Science at the University of Baghdad organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people, protesting the inhumane crimes committed by the Israeli occupation. In turn, the Rector of the University, Prof.Dr. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi, expressed solidarity on behalf of Baghdad University, including professors, students, and staff, praying for victory for our resilient people in Palestine.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Raed Falih Hassan, featured activities such as songs, poetry, and expressive posters denouncing human rights violations and brutal crimes by the occupying enemy.

This comes in conjunction with mass supportive marches for the “Aqsa Deluge” operation across various regions of Iraq. These marches express complete readiness to provide all forms of support to end the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip. This includes indiscriminate bombing of civilians, interruptions to electricity and water supply, and the destruction of infrastructure. This follows the Palestinian people’s appeal to the free people of the world for assistance in confronting this Zionist enemy.
