The delegation of the University of Baghdad and Iraqi universities completed the signing of memorandums of understanding on academic cooperation with specialized Iranian universities within the science week between the two countries.

The signed memorandums stipulated joint work in the file of the ecosystem and technology, the transfer of expertise, support for development centers, the crystallization of job opportunities and innovation through technological incubators, and the establishment of joint research centers between the two countries to develop the fields of industry, agriculture, the environment of technical and vocational universities and skills development.

In a statement to the News Center at the University of Baghdad, the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, explained that the university seeks to strengthen its international relations, and this participation comes to discuss with Iranian universities directly and to choose the strengths of Iranian universities to be cooperation in the fields in which these universities have advanced rankings, as well as with research institutions that work in research sectors that can be applied in Iraq.

Many Iranian universities have expressed their desire to sign memorandums of understanding with the University of Baghdad, which is the largest university in Iraq and enjoys an academic reputation known to Iranian universities.
