A meeting took place at the University of Baghdad involving Prof. Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, the Rector of the University, and Ambassador Hisham Al-Alawi, Deputy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with advisor Haider Najeh, Associate Dean of the Foreign Service Institute.

During this significant meeting, they discussed the potential for implementing and enhancing the Diplomatic Course curriculum of the 28th, offering training and development programs for Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees, utilizing the programs provided by the Department of Continuing Education at the university. The idea of having certain professors in the fields of political and diplomatic studies deliver lectures to diplomatic corps staff was also considered. This approach aims to empower new employees to refine their skills and benefit from the expertise of the esteemed university.

It’s important to highlight that these meetings play a role in bolstering the relationship between the University of Baghdad and various government ministries. By leveraging the experiences within these ministries to be a training field for students and professors at the University of Baghdad.
