The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Baghdad celebrated its seventy-fifth anniversary since its founding. The event was attended by Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Ambassador Abdul Rahman Al-Husseini, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of distinguished university presidents, deans, and general managers who are alumni of this college.

In a keyword during the ceremony, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi emphasized that the significant specializations offered by public universities, especially the College of Administration and Economics, hold a priority in the job market. He stated the College of Administration and Economics represents one of the historical pillars of the educational process in Iraq.

In turn, Al-Saadi, elaborated that the distinctiveness of these academic fields, encompassing economics, business administration, and statistics, derives its importance from its close connection to various sectors within government institutions and the private sector. He noted that the University of Baghdad is committed to advancing scientific research and investment in these disciplines.

At the end of the event, a group of scientific and professional figures who are alumni of the College of Administration and Economics were recognized for their positive contributions to its academic career. Additionally, new scientific halls were inaugurated, and an exhibition of paintings in the college.
