Recently, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science for Women, in collaboration with the Center for Educational and Psychological Research at the University of Baghdad, held a workshop on “Problems of the Concept of Gender and Its Impact on the Iraqi Family”, and “Sexual Bullying in Secondary and Preparatory Schools.” The workshop included an engaging lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Jawad Al-Diwan and Assist. Prof. Dr. Fadel Al-Saadi. The workshop was attended by the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, and a significant number of esteemed academics.

During the ground-breaking event, they discussed the issue of sexual bullying in schools, particularly in the city of Baghdad, and its potential risks to our children Additionally, there was a discussion about the concept of gender and its connection with homosexuality, which refers to sinful relationships that occur between individuals of the same sex, and its implications for the future of sexual orientation.

In his speech, Al-Saadi emphasized the importance of organizing workshops and symposiums that address societal challenges, including gender issues such as (homosexuality). He stressed the need to study the underlying reasons for the emergence of such issues and to adopt culturally, psychologically, and socially effective tools to address these matters in order to preserve cultural values and customs.
