Today, the Department of Follow-up and Coordination at the University of Baghdad, has organized a great celebration on the occasion of the Eid al-Ghadir al-Aghar, attended by Pro.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, and a number of university’s affiliates.
In a speech at the event, Al-Saadi congratulated the faculty members and students of the university, pointing out that the celebration of Ghadir is not for person of Ali (peace be upon him), but it is a celebration of the mandate that achieves just rule, calling for this occasion to be an opportunity for cohesion and solidarity among the people and to benefit of lessons in true national unity.
