The official of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the University of Baghdad, Lecturer. Sinai Abboud Al-Hamami, held a meeting in the presence of coordinators of the formations of the University of Baghdad to develop a mechanism for implementing the National Strategic Plan for Women’s Empowerment 2023-2030.
The attendees discussed what can be developed from future plans by the formations of the University of Baghdad to empower women within the five axes of the national strategy. Several topics were discussed, including the role of women in the political, economic and social axis, social protection, sustainable development, and environmental protection from climate change.
All recommendations will be submitted to the Department of Women’s Empowerment in the Ministry of Higher Education so that the professors of the University of Baghdad will have a clear mark in the development and implementation of the national strategy for women’s empowerment.
