Recently, the Student Activities Department at the Baghdad University has concluded the Baghdad University Basketball Championship, in presence of the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science, Prof.Dr. Sabah Qassem,the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ali Sadiq,and the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Qais Qahtan.
The final match of the championship took place in the closed hall in the College of Physical Education and Sports Science between the teams of the College of Engineering and the College of Fine Arts, the match ended with a remarkable victory for the College of Engineering with a score of (60-29) in an exciting game.
At the end of the tournament, Al-Saadi, honored the winning team and awarded them the gold medal, praising the great role played by the Student Activities Department in reflecting the positive image of our esteemed university, wishing all participants continued success.
