In conjunction with the commitment of our university presidency in pushing ahead to achieved sustainable development goals for a brighter future for sports and education, the University of Baghdad concluded Cup Championship for Football Five-a-side in the presence of Prof.Dr.Munir Al-Saadi, the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Physical Training Brigade in the Ministry of Defense,Ammar Jabbar Khudair,Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf , the Dean of College of Physical Education and Sports Science, and a number of faculty members and student fans.
The match took place in the main stadium of the University of Baghdad, between the team of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science and the team of the Student Activities Department at the university, The match ended with a remarkable victory for the team of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences with a score of (4-5), amid an exhilarating game.
At the conclusion of the Tournament, the Rector of the University of Baghdad, honored the winning team and awarded them the golden medal, commending the great role that sports activities play in reflecting the positive image of our esteemed university, wishing all participants continued success.
