The University of Baghdad has ranked (345) out of more than (1200) international universities to be among the first quarter of universities in the world in the axis of teaching quality. The World University Rankings (RUR) is a global university ranking system that assesses performance of more than (1200) pioneering universities in the world from (82) countries based on (20) indicators distributed among (4) key dimension areas of university activities: Teaching, Research, International Diversity, and Financial Sustainability. All raw data for the RUR is provided by a global company, Thomson Reuters. The RUR covers the period from 2010 to the present time.
It is mentioned that the RUR is designed as an assessing system aimed at providing information about the university’s performance to satisfy the tasks of its students, the academic community, university management and decision makers. We wish our universities more creativity and excellence.
