The Dean of College of Science for Women, at the university of baghdad,prof.Dr.Samira Naji Kazim, hosted a delegation from Iraqi National Security Agency on Tuesday, On the sidelines of the visit, was held a scientific awareness lecture on the cyber of extortion and for causes its spread at the present time , in cooperation with the Public Relation & Media unit at the college headed by Assist.Lecture.Amer Youssef and official spokesman of the national security service , Mr.Arshad Al-Hakim , and a number of officers of service. The lecture was attended by dean of college, professors, affiliates, and female students in the conference hall.
The lecture aimed to identify the concept of cyber of extortion, to know the psychological characteristics of both criminal and the victim, during their discussion the lecturers clarified ,the role of the National Security Agency in combating extortion, identifying the personality for blackmailer and ways used to exploit the victims in social media by threatening and intimidating the victim, as well as refer to how to protect and secure social media for each individual to save from extortion problems, prosecuting accused and arresting large numbers of them through the implementation of security operations characterized by a quick response to cases received by the agency. At the conclusion, the dean of the college, honored participants with the certificate in appreciation of their great efforts in presenting the lecture, and the role of national security device in processing issues related to cyber extortion.
