Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad has recently honored the teams of the University of Baghdad athletics, volleyball, and team of fine arts that have received the first place in Iraqi Universities Championship, in the presence of dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim, the assistant dean for administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Sadiq, and the director of Student Activities Department Dr. Qais Qahtan, It’s noteworthy, that the participants were honored in the Annual Fine Art Exhibition held at University of the Middle Euphrates in Najaf after University of Baghdad ‘s obtaining the first place in free painting and the second place in free calligraphy among the universities of Iraq.
Then, Dr. Munir al-Saadi praised the role of deanship of the College and the director of Student Activities Department who has exerted great efforts for maintaining their endeavor towards getting advanced places, wishing all participants continued success and progress.
