The Department of Architecture Engineering in the College of Engineering has participated in the annual exhibition that held for two days on the hall library in the College of Engineering. The exhibition reviewed the projects of the last academic year, and presented the architecture engineering field through several activities including the presentation of final five year projects as well as research posters for MSc students.
The department adopted “Virtual Reality Technology” this year in displaying final graduation projects which their were the first of its kind in the University of Baghdad, which this technology illustrate three-dimensional models effectively and presents the projects efficiently that makes the presentation more interactive and real. This kind of presentation enabled the audience a better and deeper understand of the projects , and it reflects a need to use of virtual reality Headsets to enjoy a virtual tour of projects and explore other relevant details. The technology has helped students to feel the area and the measure to understand the personality of architectural projects in a better way.
