Prof. Dr. Dawood Salman Saleh al-Dulaimi, a professor at the college of Islamic sciences has recently published a book entitled (The Sanctity of Killing a Muslim in the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH)), that is consisted of 152 pages and reviewing sixteen authentic hadiths about the sanctity of killing a Muslim.

This book came to warn Muslims not to kill each other, according to the frequency of quoting the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), to the effect that the blood, money and dignity of Muslims are infallible among themselves and that bloodshed is very forbidden and sinful so murder is considered as a crime and a sin such as polytheism. Dr. Dawood al-Dulaimi talked about the reason behind choosing to discuss this serious topic stating that the situation of Muslims today has deteriorated, in many Muslim countries, so the shedding of Muslim blood for those with narrow worldly passions and interests has become permissible, and very cheap, and many Muslims of different ranks, positions, cultures, and political tendencies have become a bridge for the people of infidelity in provoking the fire of strife among Muslims, on a sectarian or a national basis, and sometimes on a tribal, ethnic basis for trivial reasons.
