The director of the Student Activities Department at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Qais Qahtan has announced the start of the Five-a-Side Football Championship under the direct supervision of the rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi in the presence of the director of Physical Training in the Iraqi Army. The first match was played by the teams of the College of Media and the Department of Follow-up, which ended in favor of the latter (4:0) and the referee was Aqeel Mutib, while the second match was between the teams of the Department of Student Activities and the Department of Human Resources, ended with the former (8:0) and the referee of the match was Muhammad Riyad (referee of the Iraqi Football Association).
