A number of the professors of the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad have recently participated in the first Um Abiha Festival sponsored by the General Secretariat of the Kadhimiya Holy Shrine, on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), under the slogan (Lady Fatima Al-Zahra peace be upon her: the lady of chastity and hijab) to honor more than 2000 university students who wear the Zainabiya hijab. For his part, the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir al-Saadi has pointed out in his speech to the role of women in Islam and their great weight in the Muhammadi message, drawing all the lessons from their fragrant biography, starting with the Ladies Khadija and Fatima Al-Zahra Al-Batool (PBUT), and ending with the Lady Zainab (PBUH). The Coordination of Women’s Empowerment at the College of Political Sciences had a distinguished presence in this event in honoring some master’s students in acknowledgement of their sincere efforts.
