The dean of the College of Science at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz, has received the rector of Al Ain University, Prof. Dr. Shafiq Shaker Shafiq al-Mawla, so as to honor the head of the Department of Chemistry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nada al-Abdi, based on the university administration’s keenness to encourage professors and researchers to develop their academic skills in order to provide a high quality education.
The rector of Al Ain University during his speech has praised the performance of Dr. Nada al-Abdi and her keenness to provide everything that would be in the interest of students and to serve the community in academic level, stating that: “We are proud of the presence of a distinguished elite of professors at the prestigious college of science and we affirm our continuous support for them as well as our readiness to harness the possibilities to develop education, scientific research and community service to contribute to the service of the education sector”. Prof. Dr. Shafiq Shaker Shafiq, in the presence of the assistants of the dean of the college of science for scientific and administrative affairs, pointing out that one of the important roles played by the college in the production of knowledge, which can be reflected in the increase of scientific research carried out by faculty members published in international sober journals with the aim of developing scientific research and innovation in areas of local and global importance, in alignment with global scientific achievements.
