The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Education for Humanities (Ibn Rushd) at the University of Baghdad has organized an introductory symposium entitled (Introducing the tasks of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit and the reasons for its formation and ability to help students and graduates find job opportunities) delivered by the unit’s director, Dr. Huda Abdul Ali Hattab.

The symposium included a definition of the importance of the work of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, the objectives and mission of the unit, as well as the training and rehabilitation workshops organized by the unit and working to join students to these workshops as they are one of the training necessities to enter the labor market in the public and private sectors. This unit works an as an administrative formation concerned with communicating with graduates and students of colleges to qualify them to work through programs and workshops to contribute to building an advanced society, keeping pace with scientific developments and updating information to serve our dear country. At the end of this event, a series of recommendations were presented in this regard, including strengthening the vision and plan of the unit by establishing and developing special courses, highlighting self-planning and self-confidence of individuals, learn how to manage time, motivation and entrepreneurship, launching a website for following up graduates even after passing development programs.
