The Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering, has organized a scientific symposium delivered by the lecturer Dr. Muhammad Saadoun entitled: (Biometric Security on the Internet of Things) attended by a number of professors and those interested in this subject matter. The symposium discussed a number of points of view related to biometric security when using the Internet, which depends on certain characteristics in the human body such as fingerprint, to identify facial characteristics, or to scan the retina and others, and to explain its importance in maintaining information security. The lecturers addressed some topics aimed at drawing a strategy that clarifies the scientific development taking place at present and keeping pace with in line with what the college of engineering aspires to.
