The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Women of the University of Baghdad has organized a training workshop entitled (U-Report Program) in cooperation with UNICEF and in accordance with the memorandum of understanding concluded between the two parties and with a fruitful participation of a number of professors.
The workshop was presented by the representative of UNICEF, Mr. Nawar al-Ani, and the representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Omar Basil Daham, that included a comprehensive review of the process of establishing this program used as a social messaging tool and data collection system developed by UNICEF to improve citizen engagement, inform leaders, and foster positive change and the benefits of working with it. A training presentation was provided on how to subscribe to this platform, communicate with its members, and benefit from the database provided by the platform. The Coordination Committee recommended the completion of subsequent workshops that include all faculty professors, postgraduate and undergraduate students and those interested in this subject, along with providing questionnaires and surveys of different ages and categories.
