The Postgraduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad, as part of its objectives in community service, has organized an electronic workshop via the Zoom platform entitled (Supporting local journals and the mechanism of citation for the postgraduate students) attended by a number of professors, staff and students. Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Hussein Salman al-Haidari, the assistant dean of the institute, has also participated in this event where she addressed the directives of the rector during his meeting with the assistant deans for scientific affairs to urge scholars to publish research in international sober scientific journals listed within the Scopus and Clarivate Analytics databases so as to increase the citations of the Iraqi researchers globally, especially when publishing articles in the journals of the University of Baghdad.
