A member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Jawad al-Ghali, has recently visited the deanship of the College of Science at the University of Baghdad and was received by its dean Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Qazzaz, to exchange talks about the most important needs of the college as well as to provide the necessary support to. The dean gave an overview about the requirements of the college’s departments during the current academic year in addition to discussing the great number of applications submitted for postgraduate studies this year that surpass other colleges, stressing the importance of the efforts made by the deputies for supporting the process of higher education in Iraq.

For his part, the member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Jawad al-Ghali stressed that the need for keeping the scientific sobriety and reputation of the college of science, praising its academic achievements in providing an appropriate educational environment and the community services for the common good and the significance of having good relations with other educational institutions at the local and international levels, stressing the keenness of the Parliamentary Education Committee to provide all forms of support for our scientific edifices. It is noteworthy that Dr. Jawad Al-Ghali conducted a tour of the laboratories of the department of physics to inspect the nature of workflow taking place there in alignment with global perspectives and achieving its goals efficiently.
