Assist. Prof. Dr. Jassim Muhammad Mahdi, a lecturer from the Department of Energy Engineering at the College of Engineering, has won the first place in the Iraqi Science Day competition 2022 where he was gained the Distinguished Scientific Research Award in the field of engineering and technology dedicated by the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, that are related to the scientific outputs of (2020 – 2021). Dr. Jassim Muhammad was awarded or his research paper entitled (Solidification enhancement with multiple PCMs, cascaded metal foam and nanoparticles in the shell-and-tube energy storage system) published in the Applied Energy Journal, having an impact factor: IF=11.4460 and a CiteScore=20.4000.
