The Department of Astronomy and Space at the College of Science has issued recently its twenty-ninth electronic monthly issue of its scientific bulletin for February, concerned with spreading and developing the astronomical scientific culture among the groups of the Iraqi society for the sake of expanding and enriching knowledge in fields related to astronomy and space sciences as well as to support readers and amateurs in developing their information in this regard and keeping abreast with modern astronomical discoveries taking place across the world.
The issue included an editorial, translated articles, astronomical images, events that took place in February 2023, also some information about the latest events of the International Astronomical Union, recent discoveries in astronomy and space, a meeting with the Dr. Sura Ismail Jubouri, another meeting with the student Mariam Muhammad Abdul Hamza, and the department’s news for January and a new paragraph entitled “The Little Astronomer”.
