The deanship of the College of Medicine at University of Baghdad has announced the start of conducting the electronic exam via the Moodle platform for students of the fifth grade within the mid-year examinations and at the end of the first semester for the unfinished grades except for the first grade. It is noteworthy that Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments. It is a global educational platform used in more than 243 countries, led by the United States with 12,842 registered sites, while Britain has 4,565 registered sites and there are more than 166 registered sites in Iraq.

This process was conducted under the supervision of the dean of the college, his assistants along with the professors specialized in computer science at the Ibn Sina Units, the website Division and the Information Technology Unit. The exam process included installing this software, activating student accounts locally through official emails, deactivating the Internet service, using question & answer questions, where the students were divided into three groups localized in smart computerized halls, without any delay or technical problems and where the answers were under the control of the examination committee so that to reach at correct statistics and graphic results online.
