Assist. Prof. Dr. Amin Abdul Hassan Manea al-Alwani, the dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, has recently received Dr. Muhammad Lazim al-Sudani, the president of the Iraqi Medical Union in the United Kingdom. They discussed the prospects of scientific cooperation with British universities and medical institutions and ways of communication and cooperation with Iraqi physicians working in the medical and educational fields, attracting them, seeking to conclude joint work agreements in accordance with the approved controls and contexts, as well as seeking to organize scientific lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the college.

The dean then accompanied the visiting guest to see the monuments and archaeological buildings in the college, as well as to visit the Basic Sciences Building, which includes most of the major classrooms, smart halls, clinical skills laboratories, so as to follow-up the rehabilitation and development campaigns conducted there. Dr. Muhammad al-Sudani expressed his great admiration for the development of infrastructure and providing the halls with technological means that would raise the scientific level of students and the sustainability of knowledge communication, especially with international universities through the use of advanced technologies. It is noteworthy that the quest has graduated from the Baghdad Medical College in 1973, and is working now as a consultant urologist at Woodland Hospital in the UK, and serves as president of the Iraqi Medical Union in the United Kingdom and Europe, and the Iraqi Medical Association in the United Kingdom, and he has a number of higher medical degrees from British medical and surgical colleges in his discipline.
