On the occasion of the International Day of Education, in conjunction with the Iraqi-Indian Friendship Day between the two countries, the dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad Dr. Muadh Ajeel, in coordination with the Pioneers Theater has received the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Iraq, Mr. Prashant Besai in the presence of assistant deans, students and a number of faculty members. The curriculum included the presentation of a variety of scientific products for the design department, including a poster exhibition on the Iraqi – Indian friendship towards supporting joint graphic design works between the two countries.

A series of fabric and fashion designs were presented in this event under the direct supervision of Dr. Muthad Ajil and Dr. Moataz Enad Ghazwan, head of the department, professors and students in celebration of the International Day of Education, amid the exchange of cultures and integration between civilizations and their legacy, where an Indian band presented performances namely some dances and distinctive folk costumes, after that certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participating students and professors in light of the steps taken by the Ministry of Higher Education and scientific research towards enhancing and developing education outputs as well as enabling students to open up to international science.
