The Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering, has organized a workshop entitled (Raising the level of awareness and self-development), which was delivered by Dr. Suhaila Abdul Redha, in the presence of a group of the department’s faculty members. The objectives of the workshop can be summarized in raising the level of awareness as a mental state of mind towards perceiving the external environment in consciousness. The lecturer stated that just knowing the Hawkins scale of conscious growth helps to raise the level of awareness and self-development according to 20 scores at least and up to 1000 scores, adding that it is possible to override the Hawkins scale by recognizing the message of each stage and thus raising the level of awareness.
