The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Women has organized a scientific workshop entitled: (Professional ethics in the educational institutions) that was delivered by the Assist. Lecturer Iman Abdullah Hammoud and the Assist. Lecturer Saja Mahmoud Ismail, attended by a number of faculty members and students of the college. The workshop aimed to identify the concept of ethics in the Islamic law and how identify the most important qualities that must be possessed by workers in the academic and educational institutions in addition to the personal and corporate standards of behavior expected of professionals.

The lecturer presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is that workers at such organization should regard the professional ethics at the top of their work priorities for the public interest, i.e, the welfare of individuals and society, so it should be taken into account so as to strengthen the moral value in their behaviors actually, their commitment to regulations and laws in their field of work as well as coordination of common relations among the subordinates towards the consolidation of the principles of cooperation and integration.  Therefore, they stated that the existence of these ethics in the teaching profession is a basic and inevitable requirement imposed by the sanctity of this profession, because of its important role in educating future generations and preparing them to be good citizens in the community.
