Within the center’s activities for women’s empowerment and in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the presidency of the University of Baghdad, the Center for Development and Continuing Education has organized a lecture entitled (Violence Against Women Causing Suicide) that was presented by the Assist. Lecturer Fudhla Saadoun al-Zubaidi, from the health center in the presence of the center’s employees and a number of public figures. The lecturer dealt with the high rates of suicide among young people and women in general in Iraq and ways to reduce these rates and prevent the recurrence of such risky behaviors.
