The Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education for Women, held a scientific workshop entitled (Digital Libraries and their Role in the Development of Scientific Research) that was delivered by Dr. Shorouq Najah Mashkour and the lecturer Zeina Dawood Salem, in the presence of a group of professors, employees and students.

The workshop aimed to train students of the fourth grade on how to use digital libraries in writing scientific research and introducing them to some skills that can be used to obtain sources of information including digital references. The lecturer reached at a set of recommendations, most notably the need to use electronics in the field of scientific research to keep pace with scientific development and progress and the need for advanced research capabilities in relying on electronic libraries in the field of scientific research, because of their importance in facilitating research in various libraries and obtaining multiple sources in various sciences and forming a guide for applications that benefit the student and the professor for getting access to comprehensive libraries on official websites.
