The Computer Department at the College of Education for Women, has organized a scientific symposium entitled: (Quantum Computing: Quantum Technology) that was delivered by and a number of lecturers: Jawad Abdul Kazem al-Hassan, Samir Khader Yassin, Afaf Badie Qado, Salwa Marwan Saleh and Saba Nouri Majeed. The symposium included several topics, including quantum computing, future quantum computers and applications of quantum technology.

The symposium aimed to shed light on the concept of quantum physically and its withdrawal to be applied to the rest of the scientific fields of engineering, biological, chemical and computer, and then link these disciplines to each other with the help of quantum computer to produce important applied fields with a significant impact in accelerating scientific progress in all fields and shortening time and cost. The symposium reached at a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the establishment of educational workshops in the field of quantum computing and seeking to develop the study of the concept of quantum in computing through graduation and graduate research and the adoption of working papers submitted there.
