The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad has organized a workshop entitled (Skills of Academic Excellence) in the presence of students of the first grade, aimed to introduce students to the keys and skills of academic excellence and the keys to success and that there is no failure, but experiences that can be gained.
The workshop also included several topics, the most important of which was discussing the keys to success, what is possible for people somewhere in the world and study skills for those who wanted to excel and succeed, focusing on obstacles and barriers that hinder learners from benefiting from studying at the time of activity, such as taking long time browsing social media such as Facebook. The professors stressed on how to organizing time, strengthening memory and how to retrieve information, recommending that the students should commit to and develop a plan for academic excellence, use of learning methods such as illustrations and videos to understand the curriculum materials and how to retrieve information.
