Prof. Dr. Sundus Musa Jawad, a lecturer from the Teams Games Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women has delivered a lecture in a scientific workshop for the students of postgraduate studies entitled (School Administration: Theories and Sources). She at first explained the concept of school administration that refers to all efforts, capabilities and activities that are made in order to achieve educational goals effectively and among its principles are the division of labor, authority and responsibility, order, unity of leadership, unity, subjection of personal interest to the public interest, reward, centralization, hierarchy, arrangement, equality, stability of employees, initiative, group spirit, pointing to its five functions of planning, which includes setting goals and priorities, determining the time period, following up and evaluating a plan.

She added that the second function of organization is to know its elements, principles, administrative hierarchy, centralization and decentralization, while the function of recruitment includes its success factors, morale and human elements in selection, appointment and follow-up, while the function of guidance and supervision is related to know its objectives, dimensions, wise leadership, communication and ways of coordination. The lecturer added that the most important foundations of successful school management is the belief in the value of the individual and collective leadership with rationalization of work, good planning, organization and coordination, follow-up and evaluation, making decisions related to work policy in the school in a scientific manner, following positive methods in solving school work problems, full awareness of the goals of the educational stage, full awareness of the characteristics of the student, successful knowledge of the educational climate and the difficulties that hinder work within the school to reach at appropriate solutions.
