The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad has organized a seminar entitled (The Arabic Language International Day between Language Safety and Correctness of Use), to celebrate this occasion on the eighteenth of December, the day on which the United Nations General Assembly decided to introduce the Arabic language among the official languages of the General Assembly and its main committees, headed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Mandeel, who presented a research paper entitled: (The Culture of the Arabic Language).

The professors of the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Women also participated in research related to the emergence of this language, referring to the book Al-Ain by Al-Khalil bin Ahmed Al-Farahidi, rearranging and reviewing the mechanisms and objectives of work, the Arabic language between reality and ambition, social networks, as well as the sayings of orientalists in Arabic, non-standard calligraphy and its dimensions between image and sound, and the status of Arabic in international organizations including UNESCO.
