The Department of Astronomy and Space at the College of Science, the University of Baghdad has issued the monthly scientific bulletin in its twenty-eighth electronic issue for the month of January entitled “Sadeem”, which is concerned with spreading, developing and developing astronomical scientific culture among the individuals of the Iraqi community, that is concerned with the dissemination of research and development of astronomical scientific culture among the Iraqi society groups as well as readers and amateurs to expand and enrich studies in fields related to astronomy and space sciences so as to develop their knowledge horizons and provide them with all developments and modern astronomical discoveries in order to keep pace with everything new in these sciences and their specializations.
The issue included an editorial, translated articles, astronomical images, events that will take place in January, also some information about the latest events of the International Astronomical Union, recent discoveries in astronomy and space, a meeting with the lecturer Rafah Rashid Ismail and a another meeting with doctoral student Rabab Mizher Jassim, and the department’s news of December.
