The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad has organized an applied scientific visit for students of the third grade to the Dora Thermal Power Station. The students were briefed on the work site of this power plant including the requirements of practical reality that facilitates the absorption of theoretical lessons. The delegation was received by the specialized engineering staff at the station and explained the mechanism of work in the station and the main departments there, the Turbine hall, heat exchangers and condensers to the boiler, generator and the water system that is prepared from the water of the Tigris River.
