The Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit at the College of Science for Women has organized a workshop entitled (Professional certificates and their role in the labor market) that shed light on the students’ needs for internationally recognized certificates, through which they can obtain job opportunities in foreign companies and local companies and according to the needs of the current labor market, especially in the field of computer technologies, which have increased in need recently.

The workshop also dealt with the basics that students need to enhance the professional and practical aspect and the importance of obtaining accredited international certificates in the English language, such as International English Language Testing System (IELTS), which is one of the most important certificates for language skills, as explained by the lecturer Muhammad Ali Hamza al-Zubaidi (the representative of the Sultan Qaboos University Middle East College) in Iraq, stressing the need for perseverance and diligence of students and graduates by joining training courses, developing language and programming skills, and keeping pace with developments in the field of computer to obtain Career opportunities and positions in several fields such as professional certificates in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering and web design.
