The Department of Biology at the College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad, in coordination with the Student Activities Unit, held the second extracurricular activities festival for the academic year (2022-2023). The festival aimed to develop students’ skills in the artistic and creative aspects, in addition to the educational role towards students, open creative horizons for them, and strengthen their capabilities and extracurricular activities in leisure time.
The assistant dean for administrative affairs, Assist. Dr. Adel Hussein Talib delivered a speech in which he expressed his happiness for holding this festival which contributes significantly to highlighting the potential of students and their capabilities by displaying their distinguished artworks. Poems were recited then by the students, a number of paintings and handicrafts were also presented in addition to decorations used in homes and offices.
